Portugal Golega Lusitano

“Girl With A Pearl Earing”

I enjoyed watching this girl at Golega in Portugal school her horse early one morning. The amazing spectacle of Golega takes place anually and the entire town is taken over by horses, who parade from dawn until the early hours

The title is a tribute to Vermeer’s painting of the same name!

Traditional cloured cob drawing

Drawing is a very important part of what I do, this image is of a lovely traditional coloured stallion observed at the Barley Saturday Parade called Dances With Wolves. I have called this drawing “Mane” SOLD

“Al Kabir” This super arab stallion belongs to a friend, he has a very expressive face and is always a joy to draw and paint. This drawing was accepted for the Society of Equestrian Artists Annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries London in 2008 SOLD

Eclectic Blue” painted at the very delightful home in the Alpujarras in Spain of a lovely English lady called Maria who teaches Spanish.
