This is a brief introduction to our small stud, this part of the site will be reorganised as time permits! If you have any questions please email me.

The Mochrum prefix was established in 1995. Based on Bolgoed (S) bloodlines, most of our stock can be traced back through Bolgoed (S) Fusilier to ancestors such as Llanarth Flying Saucer, Golden Gem, Llanarth Braint and Pentre Eiddwen Comet.

Our goal is to produce good moving ponies and horses of sound temperament and sound body, who are capable of doing the job that they are bred for.

The Mochrum Stud currently comprises three welsh cob mares, a thoroughbred mare and various ages of youngstock, not forgetting of course our Section C driving pony stallion Mochrum Cheiftain and a two year old cob colt “Panteryrod Royal Anthem” who was purchased in 2006 from his breeder Mr D H Davies and is to become the stud stallion.
