I am always happy to quote all in prices for commissioned works, please contact me to discuss your ideas, you are under no obligation to place an order. Below I have listed some general guidelines and sample prices as a starting point. My apologies as this is nessecarily a rather long page!

All that I need to complete a painting for you is a selection of your favourite photos. Please note that if the photo is one you have purchased from a professional photographer that I will have to obtain copyright permission from them to use the image as reference. This usually incurs a small fee - normally less than £25 - from the photographer and will be added to your invoice. I will advise as to the cost before going ahead.

Additional pictures and video/DVD footage for reference are also very welcome as they help me to get a feel for the character of the animal. It is  important that the pictures you send me to work from are as sharp and  clear as possible. All of your pictures etc will be returned safely after use. If I feel that I would be unable to complete a satisfactory piece from the pictures you provide I will advise you by return, as it is in nobodys best interests for me to produce a substandard work.

Where possible I prefer to make a personal visit during which I will take an extensive set of photographs along with sketches and working notes where applicable. This enables me to get a much better idea of the animal,  and I am able to concentrate on the exact pose etc that you would like. To cover travel and photography expenses I have to make an additional  charge for this service. I often find that two or three friends will order from me at the same time and share the cost of the visit. Please contact me for a personal quotation.

I can include more than one animal on a picture. If you require two  horses or an animal with its rider or handler, there is no additional  charge.  If you require more than two please ask for an individual  quotation.

Please contact me if you have any questions I am always happy to discuss your requirements without obligation.

14” x 18” £325

Please note that sizes quoted for studies on board refer to the image size. For example, a 10” x 12” painting once mounted and framed would have overall dimensions of approximately 15” x 17” Paintings rendered on board will be sent in an ivory card mount with backing board and cellophane wrapped ready for framing.

I now no longer offer framing unless specifically arranged with the client because of the risk of damage when in transit with the couriers. I do find anyway that most people prefer  to purchase their picture unframed and choose their own frame at a later date to suit their own personal taste. Please contact me if you require a quote for a framed piece.

Prices do not include postage and packing. Delivery price will be quoted when you contact me.

**Guide: A 14” x 18” canvas normally charge approx £15 UK mainland by next day delivery.
